This one i did script out a bit. Sometimes i wing it... but usually i film myself a few times doing whatever action i want to animate. Then after i cut what i want together, i use that footage as video reference. :)

Hohoho, I'm always filming myself as well, pretty embarrassing. The "webcam room" animation studios have must be silliest and most important place of the whole thing!

Still, I can imagine the premise of surviving an onslaught of arrows with a too-heavy shield as an animated short in the Pixar tradition :)
